I was born and raised in Greenville, MI where I first found a love of woodworking learning from my Dad. After high school, I joined the Navy where I served proudly for 7 years, initially stationed in Washington followed by Maryland. Throughout my time in the Navy, I continued to find happiness in the idea of having a career where I could use more of my artistic talents. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, I was accepted at Kendall College of Art & Design where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design which would become very useful down the road. I am a God-loving man who has a very strong, supportive wife by my side throughout this journey. I have 4 amazing kids with ages spanning from 15 to 2. My family is my world and I hope to someday teach them about the joys of wood-working as my dad showed me when I was young.
I love being able to meet with a potential client to discuss their project ideas and budget, and have the skill set to be able to design mock-up renderings on a computer screen to aid in their decision-making process prior to the build phase. Whether it is a custom-building project a customer is hoping for or refinishing an existing piece they want to bring new life to, we hope you consider Woodworx! I strive to provide the upmost quality craftsmanship, material, and genuine care in each piece I work on. Just as each piece of wood is unique, each customer is as well. Your project and your opinion will always be a top priority in our shop!
